Sydney Buck is a private chef and the founder of BuckWild Kitchen, a Brooklyn based pop-up and private dining experience.

Raised in rural Pennsylvania, Sydney grew up with a deep connection to fresh foods. Her early years were spent surrounded by lush gardens, fresh-caught seafood, and high-quality meats sourced from nearby Amish farms. This attention to high-quality fresh ingredients formed the backbone of her food philosophy: cook with the seasons, honor the ingredients, and feed people with purpose.

Her passions for cooking were sparked early, famously caught at age three trying to fry her own eggs. Sydney is entirely self taught, learning through a blend of family recipes, cookbooks, instinct, and the diverse cultural influences of New York City, where she’s spent the last decade sharpening her craft.

After years of side gigs and soul-searching, Sydney took the leap to cook full-time, launching BuckWild Kitchen. Through BuckWild, she shares her personal take on comfort food. Infusing her menus with both nostalgia and innovation. Each Menu is a celebration: of place, people, and fresh flavor.

In 2023, Sydney’s signature style landed her a spot on Hulu’s Secret Chef, where she stood out as a fearless competitor and creative force in the kitchen. Since then, she’s continued to grow her culinary footprint with pop-ups and events across New York, earning a reputation for her bold flavors, big heart, and unforgettable meals.
